Friday, Friday, Friday! I am so happy this week went by really quickly. I have been really busy at work so it makes the days fly by. I got in my last long run before the BAA Half this morning (a little over 8 miles) so it should be smooth sailing from here. Bring on 13.1!
Let’s get into this week’s favorite things. Last night after a long day of work/swim lessons I came home to some packages of stuff waiting in my mailbox.
My Sweat Pink Ambassador Gear
I got the cute “Sweat Pink” tank top and 5 pairs of pink laces to rock on my already obnoxiously bring pink running shoes. I also received a hand written note from Alyse and Jamie which I think is my favorite part. There is just something about handwritten notes that I love!
I can’t wait to work out in my new tank and I am so excited to be a part of the Sweat Pink community! I am hoping I can represent it well!
Birdhouse Jewelry State Necklace
I discovered Birdhouse Jewelry at the Brooklyn Flea Market last weekend and immediately fell in love with the state charms. The booth at the flea market was swarmed with people (and now I know why!) so I didn’t have a chance to buy it there. When I got back from NYC I immediately hoped online, found the necklaces on Etsy, and ordered the Massachusetts charm and the Wisconsin charm.
Both states are very near and dear to my heart. I have grown up and spent most of my life in Massachusetts so that choice was a given. I also chose the Wisconsin charm. I went to school at the University of Wisconsin and lived there for 5 years. I met some of my best friends and have too many amazing memories to count from Wisconsin so I wanted it to accompany my Massachusetts charm. The necklace can be adjusted to three different lengths and it was cheap! For both charms and the adjustable chain, I only paid $20. I am off to New York again this weekend. I just love the 4+ hour bus rides so much (please note the sarcasm). This weekend I plan on going to Matt’s run club with him again and then we are going to see Jay Z on Saturday night in Brooklyn. I know, I know…you’re really jealous.
